For over 25 years Nancy has consistently delivered real, measurable results for design and construction services firms. Her success stems from persuasively articulating the objective value her clients provide to their own clientele. She began her career as a practicing architectural designer and shifted her focus to business development in 1997 as Director of Business Development for SOM NY
Currently, as a Principal at Appleseed Strategy, she provides firm strategy and management advice including client and project development, branding, communications and outreach for design and construction professionals.
She has a unique perspective on the challenges that A/E/C firms face in building a design identity and gaining recognition in a highly competitive environment. As a trained designer, when assessing your next space, she has eye for what works and what doesn’t — immediately. She can help identify good value and that unique quality needed to showcase the strengths of your firm.
Nancy holds a B. A. from Brown and a M. Arch from Harvard. She is a native New Yorker, continually amazed by the vitality and transformation of NYC. She is admittedly nostalgic for some of the vanished and vanishing cultural destinations of her 1980's youth.
