The Challenge

Asante Capital opened their second, US-based location at a cohabitation space in New York City. After experiencing serious success, they were ready for the independence of their own space. They needed a new home that would accommodate a growing, high-end financial services firm, impressive for client interactions without being over the top, and wanted to be in close proximity to similar firms. Equally as important, they didn’t want all of this to come at a price that would hurt their bottom line.

That’s where Vicus came in. 

The Solution

We decided to focus on the Plaza district for its aesthetic and proximity to similar high-end financial firms. After an initial space search, we found a 12th floor space in a beautiful building, perfectly suited to the aesthetic and neighborhood they were seeking.

All parties agreed that Asante was the perfect match for the building. The Landlord wanted them as is, and provided assurance that their future growth would be accommodated in the building. They received a pre-built space modified to their specifications, and a great deal with lower than asking rent and free rent driving savings. 

Where They Are Now

The company now occupies 4,000 square feet at 10 East 53rd St.
